Discussion about a magazine subscription for our group:
Lois researched information about magazines that we might one to subscribe to. She brought several magazines to show the group so we could make a decision.
Modern Patchwork does not have a yearly subscription rate - can only order one at a time.
Modern Quilts Unlimited had a yearly subscription rate of $24.95 per year.
The group decided to get a subscription to Modern Quilts Unlimited. Lois will get the subscription to this magazine - Karen gave her money to get the magazine using our dues money.

- Basting Bee - Dianne brought her basting frame and several quilts were basted by the group.
Molly has the bag with extra strips of the fabric for the monthly round robin project. She passed out the blue batik strip for Sept.
Karen will bring the fabric strips for the October meeting.
Schedule:
July - focus square for piece
August - border with squares
Sept. - border with triangles
Oct. - border with rectangles
Nov. - border with circles, ovals or curves
Jan. - border with letter, letters, words, number or numbers
Feb. - wild card (add or substitute one of the rows)
March - add embellishments to your piece
Note: Mary and I will be out of town for the October meeting.
