It will be held at the Wilmington Riverside Hilton, September 24th-27th 2015

For more information and details, see their website:  http://swapaholic.blogspot.com/p/about.html

Reminder: Our next meeting is Monday July 20th

  • Quilts for Nepal
  • Focus Block for our new challenge - Self Round Robin

Dianne will bring a yard of fabric which we will split between those who are participating.  This fabric will be used in your round robin.  If you are participating and can't make the meeting, let me know and we will save you a piece of fabric.

Note:  There is no program for this meeting. We are looking to see if there are some fun quilters' games that we can play during the meeting.  If anyone has any ideas for games or topic for the meeting, let me know.

CFMQ Guild - June Meeting Notes

June 15, 2015 Meeting Notes:

Show and Tell

Lynn brought in the completed modern charity quilt (9 patch) from our November meeting.

The quilt and quilting looked great.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the quilt.

The quilt was donated to Sister Issac at Tileston Outreach.

Lorelei demonstrated the making of a project roll.  It was a great project and was easy to make.  Thanks Lorelei.

I forgot to take pictures of the completed project rolls.  If you could bring your roll to the July meeting, we can take pictures for our facebook page. Thanks

July - bring your completed focus block.
August - use squares in your first border.
Sept. - use triangles in your next border.
Oct. - use rectangles in next border.

Jan. - use letters, words or numbers in the 5th border.
Feb. - 6th row - wild card (add or substitute for one of your borders) - use any design.
