More about our Calendar Block challenge (in case you missed it):

Each month create a one calendar block to be included in your "Modern Calendar" quilt.
Choose your color scheme for your own quilt.  Each month make a block based on the monthly theme in your color scheme.  No restriction on block size - your blocks can be different sizes.  Have fun - try new techniques, experiment with color.
Here are the block themes for the next 7 months:
  • June - Beach/ Ocean
  • July - "America"
  • August - Picnic
  • Sept. - Back to school
  • Oct. - Fall

  • Dec. - Winter holidays
I can't wait to see everyone's calendar block.   It you're stuck for ideas… just google Calendar Quilt and you'll see lots of examples (for inspiration).

Happy Stitchin.
